  7. WHAT IS NICO'S COMMANDER
  8.  
  9. Nico's Commander is a Norton Commander like file manager with exciting
  10. features:
  11. - Ten or twenty application buttons you can configure to start your
  12.   favorite application with one mouse click, and feed the application
  13.   a file you selected.
  14. - User configurable function keys.
  15. - File search (with jokers) and search for strings inside files.
  16. - Zip and unzip with a few clicks of your mouse.
  17. - Support for RAR, CAB, TAR, GZIP and TZ archives.
  18. - Directory compare.
  19. - File compare.
  20. - Explorer-like context menus.
  21. - Supports FAT32 and NTFS.
  22. - Show the current date and time in the title bar of the active window.
  23. - Built-in editor without Notepads limitations.
  24. - Built-in hex editor.
  25. - Built-in viewer for text files and for a number of popular graphical
  26.   file formats: JPEG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, PCX, PNG.
  27. - Reach icons on your desktop with one mouse click, even if your
  28.   desktop is cluttered with windows.
  29. - Reach your Control Panel applets with one click of the mouse.
  30. - Use FTP sites as local disks, with proxy/firewall support.

  44. Run downloaded EXE-file to install. Uninstall via Start - Settings - 
  45. Configuration - Add/Remove Programs.

  50. Nico's Commander is not freeware. If you want to use it after the
  51. 30 day evaluation period you must register for US$ 20.
